Regular attendance in class is necessary to make satisfactory academic development. Excellent attendance combined with keen attitude towards learning will help students to become a better person by giving them knowledge to live a more fulfilling life in addition to preparing them for a successful career. Student attendance committee is formed to work for the student attendance monitoring and implementation.

Functions:

1. To mentor and orientate students regularly about the importance of attendance
2. To identify individual and group attendance patterns in order to provide attendance improvement
3. The faculties and the class in-charges must ensure every one attending the class all the working days
4. The Department heads must conduct parent’s teacher meeting regarding student performance and attendance
5. To ensure attendance is taken for every session
6. Student attendance is communicated to the parents by the counsellors
7. Mentors must inform the parents about their wards attendance if it is below minimum or frequent absenteeism
